Aims: Scoping and implementation of an additional treatment process (disinfection) that reduces bacterial levels in final treated effluent continuously discharged to the River Dart from this sewage treatment works. This is being delivered under a Bathing Water driver to reduce the risk of water quality impacts at Steamer Quay.
