Location: Ashburton – Ashburn 

Aims: It is a unique project to help neighbourhoods be better prepared for and able to recover more quickly from flooding by improving community resilience. There are several ways communities can improve their flood resilience – by:

• managing the flow of water in an area
• planning for and responding effectively to incidents
• recovering quickly and building back better
• making the best-informed land use and development choices
