Aims: RSPB want to help farmers shape more nature friendly, wildlife rich, and environmentally sustainable farmed countryside. Winter seed source – after harvest, winter stubbles especially those that follow spring cereal crops, provide lots of seeds for hungry cirls throughout winter crop in a field is harvested, lots of arable plants growing within the stubble, which produces small seeds for the Cirls, as well as the spilt seed throughout the year.
